District Attorney Issues Stern Warning Against Aiding and Abetting; Urges Community Cooperation in Pursuit of Fugitives Responsible for French Quarter Shooting

New Orleans – Nicholas Miorana has been apprehended and is now in custody. However, Daniel Miorana (black male, DOB: 03/21/2003) and Darrell Adams (Black male, DOB: 07/09/2001) remain at large. Both men are considered armed and extremely dangerous (pictures below).

These individuals committed a horrifying act of violence, brazenly opening fire into a crowd in broad daylight—a chilling display of their utter disregard for the sanctity of human life and the well-being of our community. Their actions have not only caused physical harm but have also shattered the sense of safety that binds us together as neighbors and friends. This atrocity has left our community deeply shaken, and we are steadfast in our commitment to ensuring they are brought to justice.

A Direct Message to Family and Friends of These Individuals:

If you are aiding or harboring Daniel Miorana or Darrell Adams in any way, you are making a grave mistake. This is not an idle warning. Anyone found assisting these fugitives—whether by giving them transportation, a place to hide, or even a meal—will be fully prosecuted under the law.

This includes charges of aiding and abetting, obstruction of justice, and harboring a fugitive—serious crimes with life-altering consequences. Do not sacrifice your freedom or future for those who have already destroyed their own.

We urge you: Do the right thing. Encourage them to surrender peacefully. If you know their whereabouts, report it immediately. Helping them is not an act of loyalty; it is a betrayal of this community’s safety and a direct affront to the victims of this crime.
