Press Conference Announces Return of Renowned Law Enforcement Expert Michael S. Harrison to New Orleans

Harrison to his hometown. Chief Harrison, renowned for his decades of service in law enforcement, signs with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office as a Law Enforcement Affairs Liaison and Community Engagement Advisor. DA Williams, expressing enthusiasm about Chief Harrison’s return, stated, “Today, we welcome a distinguished son of our city back home. Chief Harrison’s illustrious career includes over two decades as an officer and detective, culminating in his appointment as NOPD Superintendent and service as Commissioner of Police in Baltimore. He took the reins of both posts during times of historic challenges. Following his resignation from the Baltimore Police Department, Chief Harrison established MS Harrison Consulting, LLC., and was tapped by the Department of Justice as an advisor.
