NEW ORLEANS – District Attorney Jason Williams said, “Today, I, along with the entire Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, mourn the loss of Orleans Parish Juvenile Court Judge Tammy Stewart.
The Honorable Judge Stewart was a cherished family member, respected judge and a true champion of justice. It was a privilege to know and work with her; the impact of her life’s work made the city of New Orleans a better place. Her passing is a great loss to the Court and the City she so loyally served. On behalf of our entire team at the DA’s Office, we extend our deepest sympathies to her family and loved ones. May God give them strength during this difficult time.”
